I feel I have exhausted all marketing plans that exist, from direct marketing to direct mail to Internet marketing. I carefully crafted a business plan, found my niche and I think they did a good job that people know I'm here. People tend to go to my website and thats about all they do flock. I know its normal for small businesses to go through that phase in which the telephones stop ringing, the e-mail stopped coming and people tend to leave there tracks before they reach you. Small business owners, how overcome this? Anything I should try? What happens to my website, www.nickelsanddimes.biz? Is there anything that could be improved? Thank you for your reply

Hi Amy, You said there were people who frequent the site, but obviously nobody was interested in getting rid of cash for their services. I looked at the site and a I first thought that the site was possibly still under construction, because I kept seeing basically the same on every page. Many people do not want to have to travel too far. I forget what the statistics are for how long we can hold someone's attention, but it's only seconds, I remember that much, but do not remember if it is 10 seconds or 3. Remembering my days in HTML / web design school, which is recommended to keep each page down to screen size. Also sections where the columns are too long or seem a bit empty, so empty …. maybe adjust the text from one column to another with the parties might be a consideration. If I were to announce, I would like to see an example of what the brochure (?) Looks like the kind of get an idea of what kind of product out. I'm not clear about if it is something "local" or worldwide. Maybe I have not read everything. A couple of nit-picky things ….
